Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik AG is seeking an Associate Technician to support mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance on wind turbines in the US. You will work alongside senior technicians, learn from hands-on guidance, and perform routine preventive maintenance to keep turbines running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (associate degree a plus), valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift and work in challenging conditions. Training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an associate degree is a bonus.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs on wind turbines.
• Generate required reports and paperwork.
• Learn to recognize wind turbine error codes and report issues.
• Assist in all site operations and high-voltage maintenance as needed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on wind turbines.
• Troubleshoot unscheduled maintenance and follow safety standards.
