Job summary

Pattern Energy Group is seeking a Wind Plant Operator/Technician to manage onsite operations, maintenance, and repairs at a wind generation facility. The role involves troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety programs.

Qualifications

• One year college or technical school certificate; or 12 months of related experience or wind industry training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wind turbines and related equipment including substation and transmission lines.
• Read schematics to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in wind systems.
• Perform mechanical/electrical repairs or replacements per OEM and Pattern Energy guidelines.
• Conduct preventive maintenance per OEM and Pattern Energy practices.
• Adhere to environmental, health, and safety programs and internal controls.
