Job summary

Qualifications

  • BS in engineering or physical science required.
  • 4–6 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong interest in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and quick to adopt new software.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor gears, bearings, generators, and oil debris sensors in wind turbine drivetrains.
  • Assess damage, categorize severity, and propose repair or troubleshooting steps.
  • Prepare reports of alerts and recommendations and track metrics.
  • Collect repair reports and maintain a failure log for major components.
  • Schedule End of Warranty inspections and file claims with OEMs.
  • Support in-house repair teams and mentor field staff.
  • Lead pilot projects for new equipment, tools, or processes.
  • Source hard-to-find parts for aging wind turbines.
  • Visit sites for inspections, failure investigations, or training.
  • Travel up to 25% and perform moderate field work.
