Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy seeks a Turbine Engineer III to support wind turbine engineering and optimize performance across sites in Texas. You will analyze SCADA data, develop solutions, and contribute to reliability improvements while coordinating with asset management and other teams.

The role demands travel to wind sites, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. A mechanical/electrical engineering background is required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to work with non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions to improve plant performance and reliability.
• Analyze advanced equipment data (SCADA, condition monitoring, event files) to resolve issues.
• Support CAPEX/OPEX planning with technical input and data models.
• Lead on-site project management during project execution.
• Create detailed technical written reports including root cause analyses and payback evaluations.
