Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Chicago seeks an entry-level engineer to support the day-to-day operations of its utility-scale wind fleet and to collaborate across engineering teams. You will analyze operational data, assist with troubleshooting, and help optimize energy production while contributing to safety reviews and documentation.

The role requires a BS in mechanical or electrical engineering with graduation windows in 2026–2027, a hybrid work schedule, and US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering graduating Dec 2026–Aug 2027.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics; MS Office proficient.
• Interest in renewable energy and asset operations; US work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for day-to-day operations of wind fleet.
• Collaborate with GC Center, SCADA, field techs, and engineers to resolve issues.
• Analyze data, maintenance records, and inspections to maximize energy production.
• Support RCAs, safety reviews, and incident investigations when requested.
• Develop procedures and docs for safe, efficient turbine operation.
• Onboard new facilities; travel <20% and field work as needed.
