Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik is seeking an Associate Technician in the United States to support wind turbine maintenance. You will work with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, learning from senior technicians while keeping turbines running using drawings and procedures.

You’ll perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoot on-site issues, and assist with safety, reporting, and site operations, including high‑voltage tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on wind turbines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems during on-site repairs.
• Assist with site operations, reports, and safety procedures.
• Follow Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and other safety protocols; work under supervision of senior technicians.
