Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik is seeking a Technician II in the United States to join its wind turbine service team. You will support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wind turbines, interpreting fault reports and keeping performance logs.

The role requires working on electrical and mechanical systems, climbing towers, and maintaining safety standards in variable weather. Opportunity for growth and professional training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree is a bonus.
• 1+ years’ experience as a Wind Turbine Technician.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wind turbines.
• Interpret fault reports and maintain performance/service logs.
• Work independently on electrical and mechanical components.
• Lead in the Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) program.
• Complete safety paperwork and follow company policies.
