Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik in Utah is seeking an Associate Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair GE 1.5 wind turbines. The role involves reading schematics, using diagnostic tools, and recording fault reports and service logs in the database.

You will work with a team to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, assist with component replacements, and ensure health and safety procedures are followed in challenging outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Wind energy certifications or military experience encouraged.
• 0–2 years experience in wind energy, electrical, or mechanical fields.
• Valid driver's license (non CDL/CDL).
• Ability to climb and work atop towers exceeding 250 ft.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on GE 1.5 wind turbines.
• Complete required paperwork and logs.
• Follow health and safety procedures and policies.
• Assist with component replacement and repairs.
• Support site operations and tower access.
