Job summary

Invenergy LLC, Camp Springs Energy Center in Snyder, TX, seeks a Wind Technician to operate and maintain GE wind turbines and related equipment. You will perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance, ensuring safety and reliability on site.

You will climb turbine towers daily, troubleshoot faults, and keep tooling and facilities in top condition. The role is 40 hours per week with overtime during peak maintenance periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of technical experience or education in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and at heights over 80 meters (250 feet).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE wind turbines and equipment.
• Climb wind turbine towers daily with safety gear to inspect, maintain, or repair equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults; repair and/or replace components as needed.
• Maintain tooling, facilities and a clean, safe work environment.
• Work a 40-hour week with scheduled and unscheduled overtime as needed.
