Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Peetz, CO, is hiring a Wind Technician to operate and maintain the Spring Canyon wind Energy Center. You will perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE turbines, climb turbine towers daily, and troubleshoot faults to keep the site running safely and efficiently.

This safety-sensitive role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of technical experience, ability to lift up to 45 kg, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• One year technical experience and/or technical education.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and at heights.
• Able to lift up to 45 kg (100 pounds) and handle up to 120 kg (265 lbs) excluding gear.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE wind turbine and equipment.
• Climb wind turbine towers daily, wearing all required safety equipment, to inspect, maintain, or repair equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults; repair and/or replace components.
• Maintain company tooling, facilities and equipment and a clean safe work environment.
• Work a 40 hour work week and be subject to scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
