Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking TOP Wind Service Technicians for the TOP Wind Technician Development Program near your home site. You will receive exclusive safety and technical training accredited through GWO and participate as part of a service team to maintain wind turbine equipment.

The role reports to the Program Manager and Site Manager, with opportunities for growth. This is a full-time paid position with comprehensive benefits and training provided at hire.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships)
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless actively relocating to the area
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire
• Associate’s degree in a technical mechanical field, wind energy discipline, or equivalent technical experience
• Mechanical or electrical background
• Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams and wiring schematics

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures
• Willing to travel up to 25%
