Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables launches the TOP Wind Service Technicians program, offering entry-level wind technician training and hands-on field service near home. You will join a team providing safe, efficient maintenance on wind turbine equipment with comprehensive training provided at hire.

This full-time role emphasizes safety, learning, and teamwork, with opportunities to travel up to 25% and grow within a structured development program.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships).
• High School Diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening; ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in a technical mechanical field, wind energy discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Mechanical or electrical background; ability to read diagrams and wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental procedures.
