GE Vernova is hiring a Wind Technician to support turbine operations within the hub, traveling locally to sites and reporting to site leadership. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot a range of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Daily responsibilities include documenting work, coordinating with the remote operations center, and meeting contract obligations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year wind technician/wind mechanic experience or wind certificate program/Associates in Energy, or 2 years electrical work experience.
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Execute contractual obligations daily per customer requirements.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Assist site operations with safety compliance.
• Perform diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Document work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE's remote operations center when needed.
