Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to maintain turbine operations at multiple sites within the Texas Hub. The role requires travel to various wind sites, performing maintenance, troubleshooting and warranty repair work with safety first.

You will document work and coordinate with site leadership to meet contract requirements. The candidate should have wind experience or relevant certification, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and the ability to work rotating shifts and overnight as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of wind technician experience or a wind certificate/associate degree in energy, or 2 years electrical work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repairs.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on wind turbines.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with Site Lead/Manager to meet contract requirements.
