Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to maintain turbine operations at multiple sites within the Texas Hub 6. This role requires daily site work, safety adherence, and collaboration with the Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and document activities using service reports, with occasional remote center support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus wind-related training or education.
• 1+ year wind technician/wind mechanic experience or wind certificate program.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb towers up to 300 feet.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to execute contractual obligations daily.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Document all work using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Respond to GE’s remote operations center when necessary.
