Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Wind Technician to perform maintenance and repair on wind turbine generators at multiple sites within the TX hub. You will assess electrical and mechanical issues, document service actions, and coordinate with site leadership to meet contractual requirements.

Role requires 1 year+ wind tech experience or related training, the ability to travel locally, and a strong safety mindset. Benefits include medical/dental/vision and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year+ wind tech/mechanic experience or wind certificate/2 years electrical work.
• Desirable tech/engineering degree or certificate in wind energy or electrical field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turbine operations and safety at wind sites.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines.
• Document work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with Site Lead and Manager on contract requirements and timelines.
