Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Wind Technician to operate and maintain the Plymouth Wind Energy Center near Marcus, IA. The role involves performing routine maintenance on GE wind turbines, climbing towers daily, and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical faults to ensure reliable power delivery.

The position requires one year of technical experience, ability to work outdoors in varied weather, and a valid driver's license with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• One year technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.).
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather; climb ladders and work at heights greater than 250 ft.
• Physically able to move up to 100 pounds and handle up to 265 lbs excluding gear.
• Valid driver's license and eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE wind turbine and equipment.
• Climb wind turbine towers daily with safety gear to inspect, maintain, or repair equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults; repair and/or replace components.
• Maintain company tooling, facilities and a clean safe work environment.
• Work a 40 hour week with overtime during peak maintenance periods.
