EDP Renewables North America (EDPR NA) is seeking an Intermediate Wind Technician II for on-site operations at our Arlington, OR wind site. You will perform turbine maintenance, inspections, and reporting, while adhering to safety protocols and EDPR policies.

The role requires physical work, problem-solving, and collaboration with remote operations as needed. The candidate should have 2–5 years in wind energy, a valid Driver’s license, and proficiency with MS Office and diagnostics tools.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in wind energy or a related industry.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office, SQL Server, facility management and reporting systems.
• Familiarity with maintenance and electronic testing equipment (e.g., voltage testers, amp clamps, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters, infrared testers, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of wind turbines and associated wind plant equipment, including substation and tower switchgear.
• Proactively look for improvement opportunities to job appropriate processes and procedures.
• Communicate through appropriate channels or implement improvements using the appropriate control management protocol.
• Seek assistance when encountering turbine issues outside the trained skill level to ensure success in resolution.
• Comply with all environmental health and safety programs and act as a safety role model.
• Perform data collection and prepare reports to meet reporting requirements.
• Document all work performed using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Adhere to internal controls and complete required training.
