EDP Renewables North America is seeking a Wind Technician II for the Waverly, KS site. The role covers on-site operations, maintenance, and replacement of wind turbine equipment, with emphasis on safety, reporting, and collaboration with the Remote Operations Control Center.

The ideal candidate has wind energy experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office and diagnostics tools. Travel is up to 10% and the position is full-time at the wind farm location.

Qualificações

• 1+ years of college or technical school education or equivalent
• 2–5 years of relevant wind energy experience
• Proficient with MS Office, SQL server, and reporting tools

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain wind turbines and plant equipment including substation and switchgear
• Identify process improvements and implement them following control protocols
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with EDPR policies and regulations
• Coordinate with Remote Operations Control Center for remote operations when needed
• Document work using service reporting procedures and complete training on time
