Vestas is seeking a Repair Technician II to support wind turbine repair on a remote, travel-heavy schedule across the South region. The role offers an overtime-eligible hourly pay range of $28.25–$33.43 with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and opportunities to grow electrical and mechanical skills on exciting projects that power communities.

Qualifications

• Wind technician experience or related hands-on experience in turbine maintenance.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.
• Must be able to communicate in English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform major component exchanges including gearboxes and generators.
• Carry out maintenance, repairs, retrofits, and special projects per procedures.
• Travel 100% across the region to support turbine operations and site conditions.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality work.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure a secure working environment.
