Job summary

Vestas is hiring a Repair Technician II for a remote, hourly role with 100% travel across the South region. The position offers overtime, travel earnings, and a potential to exceed $100,000 annually, including a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year wind technician experience, or six months wind technician experience with a Wind Technician certificate/education, or 2 years of transferrable mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic experience.
• Ability to read and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform major component exchanges including gearboxes, generators, and other critical systems.
• Execute maintenance, minor to medium repairs, design modifications, retrofits, and special projects following procedures.
• Travel extensively to support turbine operations across multiple sites and platforms.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality work.
