Job summary

Enel North America is seeking a Wind Specialist to join the O&M Technical Support team. You will provide frontline, real-time technical support to wind technicians in the field and lead root-cause analyses of turbine issues.

The role requires an associate degree in Wind Energy Technology or engineering, 4+ years wind turbine experience, travel up to 40%, and strong SCADA and vibration analysis skills. This is a hybrid, full-time position based in Oklahoma City.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Wind Energy Technology or related, plus 4 years wind turbine experience; or Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 3–5 years additional experience in wind turbine design, manufacturing, maintenance, or operation.
• Knowledge of vibration measurement and analysis on drive trains.
• Experience with SCADA data analysis and field troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-level troubleshooting of failures in the Enel North America wind fleet.
• Perform SCADA data mining/diagnosis for performance control and proactive problem solving.
• Lead wind turbine generation performance reviews to meet goals.
• Review inspection reports and ensure recommended actions are implemented.
• Provide technical leadership to O&M; support site supervision with WTG/BOP troubleshooting.
