Job summary

Enel North America is seeking a Technician I to inspect, troubleshoot, install components and repair wind turbines and related systems. You will review manuals and schematics to determine tasks, tools, and parts needed while performing planned maintenance and assisting higher-level technicians.

The role requires climbing towers, working at heights, and willingness to travel up to 25% across the US. You must pass physical requirements and maintain safety standards daily, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year related experience.
• Ability to use electrical test equipment (DMM, megger) and voltage testers.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and respond to emergencies.
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled maintenance for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment to maximize generation.
• Install, test, maintain and troubleshoot minor components and assist with major components.
• Perform current and voltage calculations as necessary.
• Initiate reports and records for maintenance and repairs.
• Complete LOTO, JSA’s, and job-specific documentation for safe work.
