Job summary

Enel North America is seeking a Wind Technician I to inspect, troubleshoot, install components and repair wind turbines. Based in Rankin, Texas, the role involves reviewing manuals and diagrams to determine tasks, tools and parts, and assisting with troubleshooting to keep turbines in service.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and 1+ year of related experience, with willingness to travel up to 25% and to work at heights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 1+ year related experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25% across the US.
• Experience with electrical theory and troubleshooting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SQL Server, and diagnostic tools.
• Comfortable climbing turbines and working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance.
• Install and troubleshoot minor components; assist with major components.
• Complete LOTO, JSA, and safety documentation.
• Support wind maintenance activities and QA/QC.
• Coordinate with Technical Support for proactive repairs.
• Maintain inventory and assist with BOP activities.
• Travel as needed and respond to site emergencies.
