Job summary

Enel North America Inc. seeks a Wind Specialist to provide front-line technical support for the O&M team, lead troubleshooting of wind turbine generators, and perform SCADA data analysis for performance improvements.

You will interact with field technicians, report to the Manager, Wind Technical Support, and contribute to ongoing improvement and compliance across the fleet. The role requires strong technical knowledge of wind turbine technology, experience with data analysis, and the ability to

Qualifications

Associates degree in Wind Energy Technology plus 4 years of wind turbine experience; or Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree.
An additional 3–5 years of related wind turbine design, manufacturing, maintenance, or operation experience.
Knowledge on vibration measurement and analysis on drive trains.
Experience with SCADA data analysis.
Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Lead high level technical troubleshooting of failures in the Enel Green Power North America wind fleet.
Perform SCADA data mining and diagnosis for performance control and proactive problem solving.
Lead wind turbine generation performance review and troubleshooting efforts to meet goals.
Monitor and implement new procedures, retrofits, and preventative maintenance.
Support Site Supervisors with WTG or BOP troubleshooting and conduct root cause analyses.
