Job summary

Enel North America, Inc. seeks a Wind Engineer in a hybrid Oklahoma City role. You will lead reliability analyses, review performance, and collaborate with OEMs to optimize the EGPNA wind fleet.

The position reports to the Manager of Wind Technical Services and requires travel up to 25%. Responsibilities include developing predictive maintenance programs, evaluating upgrades, and creating technical specifications for services and materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 5 years with wind turbines.
• Strong knowledge of wind turbine operations, maintenance and performance.
• Experience with failure analysis, reliability engineering and condition monitoring.
• Ability to interpret and create technical documentation and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into drivetrain and blade reliability issues with root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with OEMs and service providers to improve component performance.
• Lead turbine asset performance reviews and troubleshooting to meet goals.
• Analyze data to identify trends and reliability improvements.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for mechanical systems.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
