Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources seeks a Senior PGD Engineer to own reliability of wind turbine rotating electrical machines across the fleet. You will lead RCA investigations, define reliability strategies, and apply data-driven improvements to reduce failures and O&M costs.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years with generators or motors, strong electrical machine theory, and the ability to translate technical findings into business decisions. Travel up to 20% to sites and vendor facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
• 4+ years of experience with generators, motors, or rotating electrical machines
• Strong data-driven mindset and ability to translate technical findings into business and financial recommendations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Plans and develops engineering projects with significant impact on company programs
• Acts as technical liaison on technical matters within and outside the organization
• Completes assignments with broad objectives and limitations
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
