Zusammenfassung

AES is seeking a Wind Senior Project Engineer in the United States to lead wind project engineering across development, construction, and operation. You will supervise consultants, ensure design quality, and manage safety and budget goals.

The role requires deep wind systems knowledge, coordination with internal teams, and capability to drive projects on schedule while maintaining high quality and cost controls.

Qualifikationen

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in wind system design, development, construction and analysis.
• Experience with design, construction, and operations for wind projects including MV collection, substation, gen-tie, switchyard, site civil, turbine foundation, geotechnical.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS software and Microsoft Excel.

Aufgaben

• Project Execution: Develop project scope of work and design standards.
• Seek and evaluate proposals for engineering services.
• Coordinate engineering consultants to develop project construction drawings and support material.
• Review and comment on design deliverables provided by consultants and contractors for the construction of projects.
• Respond to contractor RFIs during course of construction.
• Perform QA/QC field inspections and punch list development.
• Perform Job Safety Assessments and Safety Walks to identify job-site hazards.
• Review commissioning reports and analyze system performance.
• Budget development and key financial inputs.
