Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking a Wind Senior Project Engineer to lead wind project engineering across development, construction, and operation lifecycle. You will guide due diligence, design reviews, bidding processes, and contractor oversight to ensure high-quality, on-budget delivery.

The role requires deep experience in wind systems, substation interfaces, GIS/AutoCAD, and strong communication to coordinate internal and external SMEs.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 5+ years of professional wind system design, development, construction and analysis.
• Experience with MV collection, substation gen-tie, switchyard, site civil, turbine foundation, geotechnical.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS software and Microsoft Excel Plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution: scope, design standards, and evaluation of engineering proposals.
• Coordinate engineers/consultants to develop construction drawings and support material.
• Review deliverables and comment on design for construction of projects; respond to RFIs.
