Job summary
The AES Corporation in the United States seeks a Senior Project Engineer for wind projects across the full life cycle—from development through construction and operation. Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
- 5+ years professional experience in wind system design, development, construction and analysis.
- Experience with wind project design, construction and operations: MV collection, substations, gen-tie, switchyard, site civil, turbine foundations, geotechnical.
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS software and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical and engineering matters for assigned wind projects.
- Coordinate engineering consultants to develop project construction drawings and support material.
- Review and comment on design deliverables for construction of projects.
- Respond to contractor RFIs during course of construction.
- Manage budget, schedule, QA/QC and safety on site.
