Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Technical Leader for the Project Engineering team within Onshore Wind Systems Engineering.

You will provide technical direction and lead the engineering execution of wind farm projects, serving as the primary liaison among engineering, project management, supply chain, site teams, customers, and subcontractors. You will also oversee resource assignments, strategic workforce planning, daily management, and team strategy to ensure contractual requirements are met with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of engineering and technology experience with project leadership.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability and availability to travel 10% of the year.

Responsibilities

• Translate project requirements into product definition and BOMs for supply chain.
• Create project-specific engineering instructions and commissioning documents.
• Provide timely responses to technical inquiries for turbine assembly, installation, and commissioning through final customer acceptance.
• Provide technical leadership to the project team.
• Drive process and standardization around project execution tasks.
• Lead process improvement to accelerate responses and productivity.
• Coordinate interfaces between customers and Engineering for balance of plant equipment.
• Configure control software and parameters per site requirements.
• Coordinate, schedule, and communicate resources to complete deliverables.
