Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Technical Leader for Mechanical Sub-systems within the Troubleshooting Fleet Performance Engineering team to act as the primary engineering authority for the mechanical integrity and performance of our wind turbine fleet.

You will lead cross-functional efforts to identify, investigate, and resolve complex mechanical failures, drive fleet reliability improvements, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) from an accredited university
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Field Services or Engineering

Responsibilities

• Technical Authority for mechanical sub-systems, providing authoritative solutions for complex fleet issues
• Lead cross-functional projects of moderate scope and risk
• Mentor engineers to elevate team capabilities
• Identify failure trends with Monitoring and Data teams and implement proactive strategies
• Provide technical supervision for fleet escalation and retrofits
• Develop field troubleshooting guides for technicians
