Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical System Engineer to lead the electrical system design for multiple wind turbine platforms.

You will own technical accountability and guide cross-functional teams from requirements to certification. You will oversee hardware releases, coordinate with suppliers and tests, and mentor engineers to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective electrical solutions across the product line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong technology and/or product management experience in low voltage and/or power path component design or in similar position.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead design lifecycle for the sub-system, owning design, testing and certification.
• Drive should-cost assessments and support cost optimization with suppliers to meet component cost targets at sub-system level.
• Communicate design details and technical recommendations to senior leadership and ensure lessons learned are captured.
• Manage daily operations of a global design team: define priorities, schedule, allocate resources.
• Interface with test labs to drive validation strategy of sub-system requirements and verification.
• Provide technical guidance to define and apply design practices, standards, and new methods for safety and quality.
