Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Lead Subsystem Integration Engineer – Mechanical in the United States. The role leads mechanical sub-system integration from concept through operation, guiding technical definition, design integrity, validation, and program execution.

You will manage subsystem architecture, interfaces, and cross-functional collaboration while driving continuous improvement and field/factory quality support. Strong English communication and wind turbine knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience working on Systems engineering projects, issues and/or technologies (Wind Turbine Experience preferred).
• Knowledge of wind turbine component design criteria and wind turbine systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide system expertise through all phases of product development, from requirements definition through design and development, validation, procurement, manufacturing, and product life-cycle support.
• Define subsystem architecture and manage interfaces of the subsystem.
• Lead subsystem problem solving, verification, validation and risk mitigation activities.
• Coordinate and align cross-functional teams to ensure subsystem development and BOM release.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization in design strategies and program execution.
• Support field and factory quality issues and cases.
