GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to support on-site turbine operations across all wind sites within Texas Hub 15. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and execute repairs under the direction of site leadership.

Responsibilities include electrical/hydraulic troubleshooting, documenting work, and coordinating with GE’s remote operations center. Requires 1 year of wind tech experience or 2 years relevant hydraulic/electrical work, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of wind technician or wind mechanic experience, or 2 years in hydraulic/electrical work with basic tools.
• Pass a Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and climb towers regularly.
• Understanding of electrical schematics and manuals.
• Willingness to work at multiple wind sites within Texas Hub 15.

Responsabilités

• Work with site leadership to meet customer requirements on turbine equipment.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on turbines.
• Assist in site operations with minimal supervision.
• Conduct diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Document all work using computer-based service reporting.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.
