Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1+ year wind technician experience or wind certificate program/associates degree in energy.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to climb towers up to 300 feet and handle up to 50 lbs weight daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on wind turbines.
• Document work using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Work with site leadership to meet customer requirements and timelines.
• Respond to GE’s remote operations center when needed.
