Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Hub Technician to maintain wind site operations, performing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance to optimize turbine output. You will collaborate with the Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements and GE Vernova standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Wind Technician or Wind Mechanic or similar role.
• OR 2+ years of work experience including hydraulic and electrical work with basic power hydraulic tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with site leadership to execute contractual obligations per customer requirements, including electrical and mechanical equipment in GE wind turbines.
• Perform maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch and variable speed turbines.
• Assist in all areas of site operations as directed by the manager with minimal supervision.
• Perform diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Document all work performed using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center when necessary.
