Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Hub Technician to perform maintenance and repair on wind turbine generators across multiple sites within the Nebraska Hub 1 network. The role requires physical work, safety-conscious operations, and collaboration with site leadership to meet contract requirements.

The candidate will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues, document work via service reports, and coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year as Wind Technician/Mechanic or Wind Certificate/Associates in Energy.
• Minimum 2 years electrical work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Document all work using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Work with Site Lead and Manager to execute on contract requirements.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center when necessary.
