Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician – Hub Technician to support onshore wind projects with local travel within the hub. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues, and document work in service reporting systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Wind technician experience or wind energy training preferred.
• Ability to pass a technical knowledge assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts on GE wind turbines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with site leadership to meet contractual obligations.
• Respond to GE’s remote operations center when needed.
• Support safety and quality control activities on site.
