Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to support turbine operations across a local hub with regular travel. The role focuses on maintenance, diagnostics, and safety while coordinating with Site Leads to fulfill contract requirements.

Ideal candidates bring wind-tech experience or related electrical work, plus basic computer skills and a willingness to work rotating shifts and be on-call as needed. Relocation support is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic experience or 2 years electrical work; pass Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to meet customer requirements and daily activities on turbine equipment.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Assist in site operations with minimal supervision; follow safety requirements.
• Perform diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Collaborate with GE's remote operations center when needed.
