Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to maintain turbine operations, safety, quality control, and warranty repair at the wind site. The role requires local travel within the hub and daily hands-on work with electrical and mechanical systems.

You will collaborate with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements, document work in service reports, and interface with GE's remote operations center as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year experience as Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic, or Wind Certificate/Associate’s in Energy, or 2 years electrical work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wind turbine electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues on turbines.
• Support site operations and follow safety requirements.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE remote operations center when required.
