Job summary

Avangrid Power Wind Technical Trainer supports wind turbine operations and develops and implements effective training programs. Works with operations management, plant personnel, accounting, IT, and supply chain to ensure training is aligned with operational needs.

Responsibilities include evaluating training materials, delivering in-person, web-based and self-paced sessions, and coaching field personnel. Travel to wind plants is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience.
• 3+ years’ experience with Oracle, SAP or other EAM systems.
• Experience delivering instructor-led training using PowerPoint and Teams.
• Advanced computer skills with EAM, MS Office, data management and reporting.
• Willingness to travel ~40%.

Responsibilities

• Review training materials and improve programs.
• Develop and deliver in-person, web-based and self-paced training.
• Train personnel in EAM, technical areas, safety and operations.
• Collaborate with management and plant personnel to improve processes and training.
• Manage external trainers and deliver trainings at wind plants.
• Provide coaching and technical support to field personnel.
• Maintain certifications and participate in professional development.
