Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik is seeking a Technical Trainer to develop and deliver US-based wind turbine training programs, and to maintain competency assessments within the LMS. The role interfaces with global training resources and supports safety and quality initiatives.

You will create course content, JPMs, and testing procedures, while coordinating with Operations and Quality. Extensive travel across the USA is required to implement training at multiple worksites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• 5 years in a similar role or wind industry training experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience developing JPMs and training content.
• Ability to travel across the USA.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.
• Physical fitness and climbing/abseiling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate US-based training programs for wind turbine platforms.
• Create training content, JPMs, and assessment tools.
• Maintain LMS training records and track competencies.
• Collaborate with Global Training Team, EHS, HR, and Quality.
• Travel to worksites across the USA to deliver field training.
