Job summary
EDF power solutions North America seeks Renewable Energy Technicians for on-site roles in Spearville, Kansas. Positions cover Tech 1 (Entry), Tech 2 (Experienced), and Tech 3 (Senior) with maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety responsibilities across wind, PV, and BESS assets.
Candidates attend mandatory training; travel and safety protocols are emphasized. Valid driver’s license required; onsite work is in KS.
Qualifications
- Experience levels: Tech 1: 0–1 year in renewable energy or equivalent.
- Tech 2: 1–2 years in renewable energy or similar discipline.
- Tech 3: 2+ years renewable energy experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must meet Qualified Electrical Worker standards.
- Must complete all required training upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on renewable energy assets.
- Adhere to safety protocols including LOTO and site safety assessments.
- Maintain daily maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory documentation.
- Senior Tech may lead teams and train Techs 1–2.
