Job summary
EDF Power Solutions North America seeks Renewable Energy Technicians for our Camp Grove site in Wyoming, IL. The role covers field maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of renewable energy generators, with progression from Tech 1 to Tech 3 and leadership opportunities.
All candidates will complete a four‑week training course in Albert Lea, MN, with travel and lodging provided. Onsite work emphasizes safety, equipment integrity, and adherence to industry standards, including 24/7 on‑call for
Qualifications
- Experience 0 to 1 year in renewable energy or equivalent.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must meet Qualified Electrical Worker standards.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to safety protocols, including LOTO procedures, and lead site safety assessments.
- Maintain company property and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Accurately complete all administrative work, including daily maintenance logs, work orders, time tracking, and warranty/inventory documentation.
- Attend all required safety and technical training.
- Maintain system integrity and support site budget by seeking efficiencies.
- Technician levels 2-5 participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for system monitoring and fault identification.
