Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking an entry-level Renewable Energy Technician at Windthorst, TX. You will assist technicians with maintenance, testing, and repair of wind turbines and PV/storage systems in a dynamic field environment.

Starting pay and benefits reflect the company’s comprehensive program, including training at the start of employment and on-site work at Windthorst 2 wind farm. Strong English communication and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 to 1 year related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid current driver’s license and successfully meet organizational requirements to operate motor vehicles.
• Ability to understand, read, write, and speak clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Assists with maintaining company property and equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
• Assists in performing routine maintenance and repairs of wind turbines, solar equipment, and energy storage systems.
• Tests electrical components and mechanical systems and collects data for testing and analysis.
• Attends safety and technical training required for this position.
• Completes daily work orders and administrative duties for the project.
