Job summary
EDF power solutions North America is seeking Renewable Energy Technicians to perform maintenance, repair, and operation of utility-scale wind, PV, and battery storage assets. Training is provided in Albert Lea, MN, with travel and lodging covered; onsite work will occur in Cleghorn, IA, for hands-on development.
The role spans Tech 1 to Tech 3, with progression based on experience. Expect safety-focused duties, 24/7 on-call rotation for higher levels, and ongoing professional growth within a
Qualifications
- 0 to 1 year in renewable energy or equivalent field.
- 1 to 2 years in renewable energy or similar discipline.
- 2+ years renewable energy experience.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including LOTO procedures.
- Maintain company property safely and responsibly.
- Accurately complete all administrative work, including daily maintenance logs, work orders, time tracking, and warranty/inventory documentation.
- Attend all required safety and technical training.
- Maintain the highest level of system integrity and support site budget control by seeking efficiencies.
- Technician levels 2-5 participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for system monitoring and fault identification.
