Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is recruiting Renewable Energy Technicians for onsite work in Cleghorn, IA, spanning Tech 1 to Tech 3 levels on wind, solar and BESS assets. Training is provided in Albert Lea, MN with travel and expenses covered.

You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades while emphasizing safety and asset integrity. Roles vary from learning and following directions to independent preventative maintenance and leadership of a small team.

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year in renewable energy or equivalent field.
• 1 to 2 years in renewable energy or similar discipline.
• 2+ years renewable energy experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs under supervision.
• Learn and apply safety protocols.
• Work under specific direction and direct supervision.
• Perform preventative maintenance independently and participate in 24-hour on-call rotation.
• Lead teams on routine tasks for Tech 3 and provide training as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols, complete daily maintenance logs and work orders.
