RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Tiger Team Technician I to support regional wind farm operations. This full-time, permanent role involves turbine maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety training within a small O&M group. Expect to climb towers, work with tools, and travel up to half the time while maintaining records and mentoring team members.

The position emphasizes safety, hands-on maintenance, and collaboration across sites, with opportunities to grow within a major renewables company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to relocate within 1 hour drive of site.
• Travel up to 50% of time on assignment.
• Experience in wind, solar, and BESS preferred or relevant technical degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform turbine maintenance including bearing, gearbox, and pitch/shaft work.
• Climb wind towers daily and access turbines for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure safety and compliance with site policies and procedures.
• Lead and/or conduct tests and monitor contractors.
• Travel to various sites up to 50% as needed.
