Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Wind Farm Technician I to ensure safe and effective operations and maintenance across wind farms and related facilities. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot, and repair renewable energy systems while aiding in safety and documentation.

The role may involve mentoring staff, leading retrofit installations, and collaborating to enhance performance. On-call duties and strong teamwork are expected in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree or equivalent certification preferred.
Unrestricted driver's license.
Must live within 1 hour drive to site.
Minimum 5 years of technical experience in renewable energy preferred.
Involvement in advanced certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of wind energy systems and BoP equipment.
Lead or mentor junior staff and support retrofit installations.
Conduct safety-based work and maintain EHS compliance.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation of maintenance activities.
Respond to on-call duties within specified timeframes.
Coordinate with site teams to maintain system performance.
